Page title: We the Peoples
Notes: Our understanding is that the Civil Society & Business links will be separated out in the near future and that the UN & Business Interface will sit behind the new Business link.
Page title: Find out what you can do
This is the Home Page.
It invites users to 'find out' about partnering with the UN by seeing success stories, FAQs, UN needs, guidelines, videos, speeches, press releases, etc.
Users can also choose to browse materials according to region, industry sector, global issues, UN organisations or collaboration types.

Browse information

Business users can access a variety of information available on the site, including success stories, FAQs, guidelines, and information relating to regions, global issues, industry sectors, other companies, UN organisations and types of collaboration.
Page title: Success stories
Case studies of successful partnership between business and the UN are displayed. Business users select from a list of global issues to see success stories related to that issue.
Page title: Corporate listing
Corporate partnership information is displayed so companies can see how their peers and competitors are partnering.
Page title: FAQs
Business users can select from the list of topics and view related FAQs.
Page title: Regions
Users can search all materials available on the site according to regions. They can choose whether they would like to view success stories, FAQs, UN needs, guidelines, press releases, videos etc.

Similar pages are available for viewing materials according to Business sector, Global issue, UN organisations or Collaboration types.

'Search UN needs' screens

These screens allow business users to look at the needs which the UN has entered into the platform.
Page title: Search UN needs
Business users select the category of partnership type that most interests them from the list provided. UN needs for this type of partnership then appear in the list below. Clicking on a particular need will take users to another screen with a fuller description of that need.

Page title: View need
A detailed description of the need expressed by the UN is displayed. Business users can choose to respond to this need.

Page title: Cash donation
Notes: This screen has been set up for those who, rather than looking for a long term, strategic styled partnership with the UN, just want to donate money quickly and easily.
  • Utilising existing cash donation links: This screen features the cash donation links on the websites of UN organisations that are participating in the platform. Important: This does not introduce any new fund. It points only to existing ones.
  • Links will go directly to donation pages within sites. When a link is chosen, it will lead users directly to the screen on that website which gives information about ways to donate money.
  • Differing order with each 'click'. The order of the UN organisations presented will be different every time users click onto this page. The page will present dynamically in this way to be fair to all organisations featured on it.
  • Optional search by theme. For those who do not know who does what in the UN, a search by theme option is provided. The information in it is based on that provided by the UN organisations themselves.

Business proposal screens

Notes: These screens invite business users to describe their interests in collaborating with the UN, whether they have a fully developed idea or just the beginnings of one. Click on each image to view the larger version.

Page title: Describe your proposal - Step 1
Business users describe their ideas for collaboration with the UN. Users are encouraged to give as much detail as possible so that they can be most appropriately matched to UN organisations.

The form asks business users whether they have preferences for their proposed collaboration regarding particular disasters/emergencies, regions, global issues or UN organisations. Users must also select the type of collaboration they are proposing and provide a description and, if they like, additional material.
Page title: Describe your proposal - Step 1 (Goods)
If business users indicate on the first screen that they would like to offer goods, this additional screen will appear. This form asks for further information about the type of goods, transport and the condition of the goods.

Page title: Describe your proposal - Step 1 (Services)
If business users indicate on the first screen that they would like to offer services or personnel, this additional screen will appear. This form asks for further information about the nature of the services or personnel being offered.

Page title: Describe your proposal - Step 2
Business users enter further information about their organisation profile, including their core competencies, scope of operations, CSR activity, and anticipated outcomes of collaboration with the UN.

Page title: Thank you
Notes: This is the final page users will see, in current mockups. The site will then route the expression of interest to UN organisations with whom there may be a match. All who receive this will see which other UN organisations have been informed and be able to interact accordingly. If there is UN interest in collaborating, relationship can be explored.
